We are committed to providing our clients with expertise, accuracy, and confidence.

Who we are

LinearPhysics, LLC is a national provider of medical physics consulting services to the radiation oncology market and partners with hospitals and oncology clinics. LinearPhysics’ expertise is the result of many years of clinical experience, including treatment planning and TPS modeling.

We are dedicated to delivering the highest-quality, most accurate, and most comprehensive commissioning and quality assurance services to radiation oncology clinics.

Our physicists are highly trained, board-certified experts who take pride in providing clear communication and instilling confidence in clinical physicists and radiation oncologists.

What we do

Over the last 20+ years, we have commissioned more than 120 linear accelerators, including over 80 Varian TrueBeam systems and numerous Siemens and Elekta models. In the collection of data, we have utilized IBA, Sun Nuclear, and PTW scanning systems. We have measured data for Eclipse, Monaco, RayStation, and Pinnacle treatment planning systems.

LinearPhysics works globally, with a primary focus on North America. We hold all required state licenses, including those for Florida, Texas, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Ohio.

  • Rigorous, thorough commissioning methodologies
  • Clear communication at every stage of the project
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with no downtime required from your physicists
  • Extensive experience with all major vendors
  • Complete documentation of results

          OUR PROMISE

“I have complete confidence delivering treatments to my patients knowing that Gary and the team at LinearPhysics have ensured our machine is performing accurately and consistently. Their expertise gives me peace of mind that we’re meeting the highest clinical standards and staying fully compliant with evolving state regulations.”

           – Eric Boshoven, DVM, Diplomate ACVR (Radiation Oncology)

"LinearPhysics was easy to work with from the start. Their personal attention and flexibility gave us the perfect commissioning experience. Our project from shielding, acceptance, commissioning, model validation, and finally end to end testing, gave us the "first day" treatment confidence that we needed."

          – Lisa DiBernardi, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Oncology), Diplomate ACVR (Radiation Oncology)

"LinearPhysics has provided exclusive medical physics support to two veterinary radiation treatment centers where I have worked since 2021. I am confident that our linear accelerator calibration, acceptance, plan QA oversight, and any patient-specific concerns are handled promptly and with expert care. Gary is well-versed in the physics of a wide variety of linac models and works closely with our engineering team, both of which I see as key advantages of LinearPhysics compared to other medical physics groups that are not veterinary-specific."

          -Rick Chetney, Jr., DVM, DACVR-RO

"Without LinearPhysics, we would have faced several challenges that would have delayed our ability to increase caseload over the first year. Now entering our second year of successfully treating cancer patients, we have peace of mind knowing our linac and radiation treatments are being monitored by LinearPhysics. We look forward to our continued partnership with LinearPhysics in the years to come."

          -Kevin Ware, DVM, ACVR-RO
