His experience includes all aspects of clinical physics, dosimetry, patient and machine quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. In addition to his work on the first clinical Halcyon in the US. His work involves close collaboration with clinic administrators, radiation oncologists, and staff to build and maintain seamless, high-functioning radiation oncology departments. Gary has provided physics support all across the United States and internationally, including in Russia, Myanmar, and Colombia. He is dedicated to his family and has a personal desire to provide the best possible care to all cancer patients.
Michael A. Lamba, PhD
Mike Lamba is an ABR Board Certified Medical Physicist specializing in Radiation Oncology. He earned his doctoral degree in Nuclear Engineering with a Medical Physics focus from the University of Cincinnati. With extensive experience in implementing advanced radiotherapy technologies, Dr. Lamba has played a leading role as principal physicist in the development of both radiosurgery and proton therapy facilities. He has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed publications and has significant expertise in radiation safety and regulatory compliance. His career reflects a strong commitment to innovation and excellence in clinical radiation oncology.
Carl Shields, PhD
Carl Shields is a clinical medical physicist with a doctorate from Case Western Reserve University. He has spent the majority of his career in a clinical role at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, where he supported the delivery of high-quality radiation oncology services. His areas of expertise include linear accelerator calibration, treatment planning system validation, and implementation of advanced techniques such as IMRT, VMAT, and IGRT.
